Behind the scenes · Chapter 1
Here's what we've actually been building.
We've been heads-down for two years. That changes now. These are the first real photos, shot in Mallorca with the Bianchi pro team.
Why we started
Here's what nobody in swimming says out loud: you don't hate swimming. You hate getting to the pool. It's the one discipline that makes you leave the house, drive somewhere, and train on someone else's schedule. So you go once or twice a week, hope for the best, and show up on race day feeling like a fraud. And even when you do get there, you've got no real idea if you're actually getting better. That's the real problem. Logistics first, then no proof. So we set out to fix both: fill the days between pool days with training you can do at home, and measure it so progress finally stops being a guess.
Chapter 1 · The data viewer
We built a way to see your swimming.
Every stroke on the ZWIM bench produces a number. Not a vague score, not a guess. Propulsive Watts: how much of your effort actually moves you forward. You pull, and you watch it land on screen in real time.
Propulsive Watts. The number underneath everything ZWIM does.
The first time we put it in front of athletes, the room went quiet. They watched their own effort turn into a live number, and then every one of them wanted another go. That's the moment we'd been chasing. Training you can feel, and finally measure.
Data on its own is homework. Nobody trains harder because of a spreadsheet.
A glimpse
So we wrapped it in something you'll want to come back to.
Your Propulsive Watts don't just sit in a chart. They drive what happens on screen. The harder you pull, the more the world responds. That's the part that turns a session you should do into one you want to do, on the days between pool days.
That's all we'll say for now.
